Running Orlando 10th Annual Miracle Miles
Miracle Miles Orlando 5K and 15K
We had a seriously fun time at Miracle Miles today and ate a billion Chick-fil-A sandwiches. After the initial parking nightmare at the Winnie Palmer parking garage the fun began. The 15K runners were out in force and the weather was beautiful.
The 5k seemed more like an after thought than an event but It was still pretty fun. There was no chip timing and no minute sign for starting spots. The track shack runners created the front line and they just said go. The first 1/4 mile of the Miracle Miles 5k was, let’s say, a mess but after that runners settled in and had a nice run. Unfortunately, there was no posted times so if you were not in the top 10 male or female finishers just tell people you were 11th and nobody will no the difference. The fact that everyone from Running Orlando finished 11th was nothing short of a Miracle Miles Miracle!
Congrats to all the runners, volunteers, and sponsors who the 10th Annual Miracle Miles such a great event.
